__________________________________________________________

CAPTAIN: Ben Taylor (British)

Ben spent his childhood sailing, fishing and kayaking around the East coast of England. After graduating from university with a First Class Degree in English Literature, he headed out to pursue a career at sea. Ben’s sense of adventure has taken him right across the globe and he has logged hundreds of thousands of miles sailing around the well-known coastlines of North America, the Mediterranean and Caribbean as well as far flung places across Central America and the South Pacific. He is a certified advanced diver and a keen fisherman. When away from the bridge he can often be seen with a book or camera in hand.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Georgie Lloyd (British)

Georgie grew up in Wellington, New Zealand. After completing a degree in marketing and international business she worked in the field for five years. It was a combination of a love for travel and her experience in events management that led her to yachting in 2009. Georgie has honed her skills on a variety of vessels ranging from 70ft to 200ft. Attentive to all your needs, she always goes the extra mile and ensures that the boat is ready to cater to a guest’s every desire.

DECKHAND: Gary Sleeman (British)

Gary is a country boy from Warminster, with a passion for the outdoors and travelling. Whether hunting with his father or playing soccer with his friends Gary always enjoys any chance to get outside. Having worked as a maintenance technician in the English country side, Gary yearned for the great outdoors and a life at sea. He works tirelessly with Clive to keep all areas of the exterior in immaculate condition, but don’t be surprised to see him down in the engine room or even with an apron on acting as sous chef!

DECKHAND: Janis Kronberg (Latvian)

CHIEF ENGINEER: Philip Murrell (British)

After completing his civil aviation air engineering license, Philip started working for British airways. Deciding that a career at sea would be more interesting he hit the books again, gaining his Y2 engineer’s ticket. Philip has now worked on boats for 20 years, including 4 years on Kathleen Anne. His engine room is kept as clean as the main saloon. When underway, Phil can be seen, pillow in hand, heading down to spend the night with his beloved engines. Off the boat, Phil and his family live in the South of France. His two young sons keep him busy when he’s not lighting a BBQ or skiing in his favourite winter spots of Auron or Isola 2000.
