Captain: LUCIANO BIGGI
D.o.B. 9th/08/62 Carrara (ITALY), the worldwide famous Marble area
He begins very young his sailing career, competing with racing sailing yachts,
after having collected several victories and remarkable successes, and a lot of
experience at sea, Luciano Biggi decides to start his career as Captain on sailing megayachts. Thanks to his valuable abilities and pleasant personality, he was asked to work for very famous yacht Owners, such as Gianni Agnelli (FIAT Tycoon) or the Count Marone Cinzano (Distilleries and wineyards) and several other big names.
In the 90s he met the actual Owner, he has been working for in the past 16
years. In 2006 Captain Biggi takes the command of this wonderful 45 mts Perini Navi, HERITAGE, after having followed the whole construction since the very first drawing, taking care of any detail. Nobody knows the yacht better than him. During the past 5 years, sailing at the Heritages command, Captain Biggi has covered more than 32000 nautical Miles, doing a very appreciated work. Captain Biggi, thanks to his skills in cruising and to his flexible mentality, is able to find a solution for any guests wishes
Engineer: ENRICO RICCI
D.o.B. 24th/03/1973 Sarzana (SP) ITALY
Immediately after being certified as Naval Engineer, Mr. Ricci begins his
professional career on board of large commercial and cargo vessels.
After cruising several years worldwide and after having learnt all the
mechanical and shipping secrets, Mr. Ricci began to work in the pleasure
yachting industry. As first experience on pleasure yachts, he has been taking
care for 4 years of a 35 mts motoryacht, then he spent further 4 years on
board of a Perini Navi 43 mts. This sailing experience made him fall in love with sailing vessels. Thanks to his knowledge and professionality, he obtained a position as Engineer on board of Heritage, since her launching. He is very
motivated and happy to continue his career taking care of the vessels that he
First Deck Officer: MARCO MARIATTI
D.o.B. 10th/11/1981 Genova ITALY
After attending the Nautical high school in Genova, Mr. Mariatti gets certified
as Naval Surveyor. During his Military service, in the Italian Navy, Mr. Mariatti
takes part as a volunteer, to the famous mission Enduring Freedom and
several other relevant missions.
Once his Military service ended, Mr. Mariatti begins his working career as
Officer of large cargo vessels, and immediately after on board of big Passengers ships owned by Carnival company, achieving, at only 25 years old, the position of Second Sailing Officer.
After these great experiences, he decides to work on board of pleasure
Megayachts: as first job in yachting industry, he obtained a position as second
sailing officer on a 56 mts charter vessel, where he had the opportunity to ,
especially relating with the Charterers needs. His best chance arrived, when it
was offered to him a position as first officer on board of Heritage, fabulous
sailing yacht of the Perini Navi fleet. The best in its genre. Mr. Mariatti takes the challenge, obtaining since the very beginning a lot of appreciation.
Deckhand: GIAMPIERO NICCHIRI
D.o.B. 18th/03/1979 Ozieri (SS) ITALY
Mr. Nicchiri is certified as Naval Engineer, he begins his career very young, in
Sardinia (his native region), doing maintenance and refitting works on boats of any size.
Determinate as all the people coming from Sardinia, he achieved his aim and
finally he got a position as general Engineer on board of a 22 mts motor yacht, covering several duties, such as tenders Driver and Deckhand for more than 6 years. In 2006 he achieved the title of second engine Officer, and this gave the opportunity to Mr. Nicchiri to get a position on board of the Heritage during the construction of the vessel.
He is a very happy crew member, thanks also to the great Team Spirit
onboard of Heritage
Chef: DANIELE BIGGI
D.o.B. 5th/10/1986 Carrara (MS) ITALY
Certified in Hotel and Hospitality management, Mr Biggi Jr. begins immediately to work on board of yachts, owned by very exigent Owners.
Notwithstanding his young age, as first experience, Daniele gets a position on
board of a 27 mts., mainly as Chef but flexible in any moment to cover other
positions as well.After having shown his capabilities, he was called to work on
board of several important yachts, such as a San Lorenzo 42 mts., a Perini Navi 50 mts., and several other Megayachts, where Owners and Guests were always surprised by the high quality of his cuisine. His recipes are extremely various, ranging over a wide choice of cooking traditions, from the Mediterranean to the exotic cuisine. One of his favorite is Thai food. Last but not least, he is very skilled in making pastries, following the best Italian tradition. He prepares unforgettable cakes and sweets, with great passion
Very proud of his position on Heritage, Daniele shares the great love for the sea with his dad, the Captain.
Chief Steward: SIMONE PAU
D.o.B. 19th August 1978, Cagliari/Sardinia
After his School Graduation he started to work in Restaurants in Cagliari, as
Waiter. In 2004 he obtained a good position in a very well known Michelin
Restaurant, where he improved his knowledge and experience, and thanks to
his determination he became in only one year the main Maitre. His wish to have new job experiences and out of his native city, he has been working first in a high quality Relais Chateau in Costa Smeralda (Northern Sardinia) and
successively in Viareggio (Tuscany). In 2006 he had the opportunity to obtain a position as Steward on a large motoryacht: this experience met his enthusiasm utmost and he decided to stay definitively in the yachting industry for his future. After some employments on important private yachts, of several Nationalities, he met Captain Luciano Biggi, who after a long wooing succeeded in finding an agreement for his position onboard Heritage. The Captain was very eager to have Simone onboard, confident in his qualities and professional skills.
Steward: MICHAEL ACCORSI
D.o.B. 15th July 1984
After his graduation at the High School of Hotellerie, he began to work in
several important Hotels and Restaurants. Important experiences to become an excellent Comis and Barman. He was very fond of the sea and yachting, since very young, therefore he started to find a position in yachting industry. First of all, he has been working in the famous shipyard RIVA, covering several
positions and achieving very deep knowledges also in technical and repairing
matter. After this important experience, he was ready for his first employment
onboard of an important yacht: a 55 mts, where he had opportunity to improve his skills in the very special yachting industry. Captain Luciano Biggi met him and immediately he appreciated the good character and the professional skills in taking care of guests, from housekeeping duties, elegant table service and his efficiency in supervising all the details, important for a successful charter
