The sailing yacht CAPE ARROW has been designed by the winning collaboration between Farr Yacht Design for the naval architecture and Nauta Design for the general concept, interior design and exterior styling, SW 100 RS is aimed at guests who enjoy the aggressive, sporty lines and open transom of low coachroof profile whilst not compromising the generous interior space of a Deck Saloon version.
The absence of the deckhouse, the new design of furniture, a performance package including high modulus carbon mast and PBO has caused over a tone of weight loss. Thanks to this the sailing yacht CAPE ARROW has achieved a maximum speed of 30 knots.
The interior layout of the sailing yacht CAPE ARROW follows the classic Southern Wind Shipyard configuration with the crew area aft consisting of two double cabins, two heads and a galley with separate navigation station. The guest accommodation comprises of two en suite cabins and a double VIP cabin further forward. The master suite is forward of the mast and is accessible through the study and includes a vanity desk and en suite bathroom.
The large, well lit, saloon features a comfortable conversation area on the starboard and the dining area on the port side. By lowering the saloon on the SW 100 RS of CAPE ARROW, the living area has widened achieving a single open space with an adjacent study. The use of light colored fabrics and contrasting teak furniture, gives the impression of larger interior space.
This new Southern Wind Shipyard sailing yacht CAPE ARROW is a very elegant performance sailing yacht, with modern lines and design, perfect for luxury and comfortable yacht charters.

Sail and work experience: Having begun his career as a gifted young dinghy instructor, Fabrizio Oddone rapidly grew his level of sailing skill by participating in many races on the Mediterranean circuit. His first important experience was onboard Amer Sports One, a VOR 60 that successfully participated in the Volvo Ocean Race, on which he raced for three years. Following this experience, sailing as a bowman and also as helmsman in the longer races, he competed in the Rolex Middle Sea Race several times, the Rolex Swan Cup, the Rolex Giraglia Cup and the Brindisi-Corf, as well as participating in the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge on Madifra. However, racing was not his only interest. Fabrizio spent some time in the Caribbean where he worked as a skipper onboard charter yachts and catamarans, and occasionally in scuba diving as a PADI Divemaster. In Antigua, he embarked on the Swan 100FD Fantasticaaa, which took him to New Zealand, through the Panama Canal and across the Paciic. On his return to Europe, Fabrizios experience with Swan craft would grow further as he captained a Swan 62ft, and later on, was offered an incredible opportunity he went on to
spend a year in Finland following the construction of the new Swan 80FD and managing her delivery transfer from the Baltic sea to the Mediterranean, passing through the Kiel canal. Fabrizio has extensive experience in the delivery of yachts ranging from 60 to 100, having frequently crossed the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the Atlantic, but it was with the delivery of the SW Almagores II that he inally entered the Southern Wind world. One year later, he decided to repeat this incredible voyage sailing for more than 7.000 nm from South Africa to Italy onboard SW94 Windfall, as her Captain, and taking part in the final ittings of the yacht at Southern Wind Shipyard (Cape Town SA). The delivery was a great opportunity to test Windfall on the route between Cape Town and Genoa, getting to know every detail of the yacht and pushing her to her maximum speed, sailing without using the engine as far as possible. Following the delivery, Fabrizio stayed on as Captain of Windfall, running her first brilliant charter season for the whole of the summer in 2013. His last winter season was equally exciting. As Captain of SW100 Cape Arrow, which took part in the most thrilling racing events in the Caribbean, such as RORC 600 Race, St. Barths Bucket Regatta and Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta, Fabrizios experience of the Southern Wind sailing world continued to great success.
